2. Processing when accessing this website
When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits information to our server (e.g. IP address, date and time of request, user agent, referrer, requested URL). The temporary processing of this data is technically necessary to deliver the website and ensure stability and security.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technical provision and security).
Retention: Server log files are usually kept for up to 30 days and then deleted unless longer storage is required for security/evidence purposes.
3. Matomo (audience measurement)
We use the open-source web analytics tool Matomo (self-hosted in Germany) for anonymized audience measurement. Matomo is configured to use no cookies (cookieless tracking). Your IP address is anonymized (e.g. truncation of the last bytes). Matomo also respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting if enabled.
- Data processed: anonymized IP, device/browser information, visited pages/events, referrer (if any), date/time.
- Purpose: understanding usage to improve content and technology.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in cookieless measurement with IP anonymization).
- Recipient: processing on our own server infrastructure (analytics.design-frischgepresst.de); no disclosure to third parties.
- Retention: aggregated reports/anonymized raw data are regularly deleted or aggregated; concrete periods depend on Matomo configuration.
Opt-out:
You can opt out of anonymized measurement at any time:
The opt-out applies only to this device and this browser.
4. Ahrefs Web Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to gain privacy-friendly insights into how users find and use our site. The script is loaded from Ahrefs servers. According to Ahrefs, the service focuses on aggregated metrics without using invasive tracking techniques.
- Data processed: technical usage data such as page views, referrers, and device/browser information in aggregated form.
- Purpose: improving content and SEO.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving the website).
5. Cookies
We currently set no functional cookies that are strictly necessary for using the site. Web analytics with Matomo runs without cookies. If, in the future, we integrate services that use cookies (e.g. Google AdSense for ads), we will inform you in advance and request your consent via a cookie banner.
6. Contact via email
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request and for any follow-up questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (general inquiries).
Retention: Until your request is fully resolved and in accordance with statutory retention periods.
7. Hosting
Our website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). Personal data generated when visiting the site (e.g. IP address, timestamps, requested resources) is processed on the host’s servers in Germany.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient provision of the website). We have a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with the hosting provider.
Data at the host: server log files (IP address, date/time, requested URL, user agent, referrer, HTTP status code) for technical delivery and attack prevention. Retention: logs are generally stored short-term and then deleted unless required for security reasons.
8. Legal bases and retention
Unless more specific storage periods are stated in this policy, we process personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose and insofar as no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. Legal bases include Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) contract/pre-contract, (c) legal obligation, and (f) legitimate interests.
9. Your rights
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20).

- Withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection Baden-Württemberg (baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de).
10. Changes
We may update this privacy policy if technology, legal requirements or our services change. The current version is always available on this page.
